It began as a group of operators, not a firm.
Meridian 103.8 started as a conversation between senior people who had each run part of the journey to market — and kept watching good medical technology stall in the gaps between them.
One had built quality systems and carried devices through notified body review. Another had led engineering for software that had to hold up under audit. Others came from clinical affairs, market access, and the funding side of the table. Individually, each had taken products through their own stretch of the path. Collectively, they realised the failures almost always happened at the handovers.
A collective, deliberately.
Meridian is not a pyramid with partners at the top and juniors doing the work. It is a collective of executive-level individuals who each own a discipline outright and step into an engagement to lead it — regulatory strategy, quality, clinical evidence, commercial, capital.
Every person you meet is the person who does the work. No account layer, no rebadged associates. When a programme needs a different specialism, the collective brings in the executive who has already done it, in that jurisdiction, at that device class.
Why 103.8.
A meridian is a line that helps you find your position and set a bearing — exactly what a medtech company needs when the regulatory map shifts across dozens of jurisdictions at once.
103.8 is the frequency we tuned to: a specific, precise signal in a very noisy field.
Seniority, sequenced.
We built Meridian to be the thing we kept looking for: senior people who hold the whole journey between them — development, regulatory strategy, quality, scaling, market access, fundraising and grants — instead of handing founders between silos.
That means a regulator-ready path from the outset, decisions taken in the right order, and the commercial and capital questions answered early enough to matter. Across Europe, North and South America, Asia and the Far East, in parallel — not one market at a time.
Where we are now.
Today the collective works with device, SaMD and AIaMD companies at every stage — from first-in-class start-ups to scale-ups preparing to raise — supported by a specialist consultant bench and on-the-ground representatives in each region we cover.
The mission hasn’t changed: get the right product to the right market, compliant, funded and scaled.
